Founded in 1984, The Father’s Rights Law Center has since concentrated its legal representation on men, husbands, and fathers. And our reception in the field was immediate — in fact we have found during the past 35 years that a substantial source of referrals has been from women, including our clients’ mothers, sisters and new mates.

Peter J Mueller

Mr. Mueller has managed Father’s Rights Law Center® as an alternative to the general family law practice by his exclusive availability for professional fathers and husbands. The philosophy of the center is not that custody is right for every father, but that every father should have an equal right to custody.

One aspect of the Father’s Rights Law Center® program that has proved helpful for clients when initiating joint custodial parenting plans acceptable to the court has been Father’s Rights Law Center’s® immediate involvement of prominent child psychologists for clients before the first court appearance to help the father prepare a reasonable parenting plan consistent with family history and needs.

It has been the center’s experience that while parenting opportunities for fathers have significantly expanded over the past 10) years as more and more mothers enter the work force, the best and happiest parenting plans evolve between the separated parents after the divorce has been finalized.

Father’s Rights Law Center® also encourages professional preparation for clients to best present their parenting plan to the family mediators employed by the Superior Court. The mediator’s initial custody recommendation is made when parents are unable to agree to a custody plan; the court tends to ‘rubber-stamp’ the recommendation, and it becomes critical to all custody orders.

Rose Mueller

The Founder’s spouse and partner, Rosalinda Mueller, co-founded A Father’s Rights Law Center in San Diego, which serviced the cities of Encinitas, San Marcos and Escondido, California over 27 years ago.

Rose is our acting office manager and maintains day to day contact with clients. She provides answers to the questions placed by fathers, husbands, father’s mothers and even father’s new wives about the procedures and costs for family law proceedings.

Clients regularly approvingly comment about her care and attention for the most basic information repetitively requested day-in and day-out. In addition to fielding initial inquiries she enjoys writing, problem-solving and says that she enjoys most of all responding to client requests.

As a computer science graduate of U. C. Berkeley, she has been managing and overseeing our business needs and works to coordinate and foster our firm’s charitable and good-will liaisons with local religious groups, The BBB and the Chamber Of Commerce since 1990. The mother of 7 children, and multiple grandchildren, Rose amazes all who know her with her eternal optimism and effusive spirit.
